Canines Across The Plains has a simple purpose:
to create harmony between you and your dog(s).
Canines Across the Plains is a dog training service. I started this service for one reason: to help people and their dogs. A high-energy dog can be very stressful for people who are very busy or physically unable to manage their dogs. CATP provides services that are designed to help people create harmony with their dogs through training and exercise. We offer 3 paths to harmony: the consultation, the harmony program and dog Walking. I have worked with dogs from all over the midwest.
Our training system is designed to cater to the differing needs of your dog(s). I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to train under Linn Boyke one of three people trained by Cesar Milan.
Although the purpose is simple, the program you choose will challenge you, inspire you and create a bond with your dog that is stronger than you could ever imagine.
The journey to harmony begins with the consultation. It is a life long journey that will enrich your life and the life of your dog(s). The consultation will bring enlightenment and education regarding your dog’s behavioral issues. The causes and the reinforcement of these issues will come to light. Direction regarding how best to take care of your dog(s), both mentally and physically will be provided. You play a vital role in the journey. Your responsibilities and the responsibilities of others that may interact with your dog(s) will be outlined.
Although there may be immediate progress along the path that you choose, and you may feel as though your dog’s behavior has improved, it is important that we continue the positive momentum we have created. The journey is intended to ensure that we do not return to the negative behaviors. It is imperative that you find and sustain a balance of effort to keep you moving forward. You cannot get to the end of the journey unless you commit one hundred percent. The bond that is created during this journey is deep and ever lasting.
Canines Across The Plains will offer you a lifetime of support and keep you headed in the right direction, but ultimately, the success of your dog's behavior and training is in your hands.
